David and his team customized this engagement ring for us, and brought our idea to life. David was patient, and provided a low pressure and comforting environment throughout the process. He helped us turn our idea into reality. He was communicative by providing updates and asking for feedback about the ring while it was being created. I cannot recommend R&R and David enough! David and the team are masters of their work. I was looking to have an engagement ring custom made for my future finance. I found David after visiting several other jewelers around the diamond district, and found him to be honest, patient, thoughtful, and considerate of what I wanted/believed would be best for an engagement ring. We went through multiple iterations of the renders until the ring was perfect, and it took roughly 3 weeks from start until I had the ring in my possession. We’ve gotten nothing but compliments about the ring and will definitely be back to R&R in the future!

I had an incredible experience working with David on my engagement ring. From the first consultation to the final pickup, he was patient, professional, and genuinely educational. I came in with only a general idea, and he walked me through every detail—explaining the 4 C’s, comparing diamond colors side by side, and even showing inclusions through a jeweler’s loupe. His explanations made everything easy to understand and helped me feel completely confident in my choice. David’s prompt communication was outstanding. Any time I had a question, he responded quickly and clearly over text. The process was smooth, efficient, and the turnaround time was impressively fast, without sacrificing quality. What could have been stressful ended up feeling enjoyable. He never rushed me or pushed a sale, and it was clear he truly cared about helping me create the perfect ring. The final piece exceeded all expectations. If you want a knowledgeable, trustworthy jeweler who makes the entire process comfortable, David is the one to go to. Highly recommend R&R!

CUSTOMER SERVICE: If I could give a MILLION STARS, I would! Remi is such a sweetheart and I absolutely adore him and his wife (my fiancé and I also met one of his sons.) Everyone was so sweet and accommodating to my two toddler sons. At one point, when one of my sons got scared of the steamer noise, Remi- personally went eye level to my son to show him how the steamer worked; so my son would stop being scared. As a mama-bear, that’s A++ customer service!!! I adore the fact that this is a family-owned business and that they’re very intimate and personal with their clients. May the Good Lord Bless them eternally!! ENGAGEMENT RING: (I’ll make this a two part review). When I previously went engagement ring shopping, I was told that I was a size 6, when Remi sized me, I was a size 4.75. (Love that they do quarter sizes!!!) I also showed him a ring that I would’ve bought on James Allen (not knowing anything about rings at all), and Remi explained in great detail why I would’ve made a poor choice- based off of the preferences I told him. For example, the ring that I would’ve bought from J.A. was single prong- meaning there was a high likelihood that the ring would’ve fallen out (which was exactly what the J.A. reviews said happened to their engagement rings. No girl wants that!) I’ll post a part two with my wedding bands. But here’s the pics of my ring- in natural lightning and direct sunlight. Remi gave me exactly what I asked for: a dainty, yet elegant ring that wasn’t over the top LOUD, but not plain either. Remi truly is the jewelry Dr. and for now on, I’ll recommend that everyone goes to R&R Jewelers. Edit: I’m unable to add another review so I’ll add my update. After a month of use: my ring is beautifully made, practical, and simply elegant. I say practical because when my toddler son brushes his face across my hand/ring, he never gets scratched. I was first introduced to R&R jewelers about 14 years ago, by my friend who visits NY from Scotland frequently. On one such trip she brought me back a beautiful princess cut diamond engagement ring. Having arranged everything with my husband as a suprise.Fast forward 14 years and I got in touch with the lovely David to ask if they would make a new setting/band for my engagement ring. From start to finish, David's care and attention was second to none. He worked with me to make sure that the renderings were just right and that I was completely happy with every decision. My friend returned to Scotland today in posession of the most beautiful ring. David made sure that the ring was ready on a specified date and had my diamond reset for its return to Scotland. I would not hesitate to recommend R&R. David is fantastic and also a genuinely lovely person. Wedding band to match on my friends next trip I think x

I met David through a mutual connection when I began looking for an engagement ring. David did a fantastic job educating me on all things diamonds. He also picked out diamonds and bands based on the suggestions I received from my fiancé. Some diamonds fell out of my wedding band and since we didn’t have a jeweler yet in NYC, my insurance supplied a list and thankfully we found R & R Jewelers 🙌 Robert truly went above and beyond and completely surpassed any expectations I had. This family-owned store has provided exceptional services for decades; their commitment to client satisfaction is close-to-none. I can assure you won’t be disappointed. When I first met David, I instantly knew I found the right person. His professionalism was noticeable from the get go. He handled all my questions and concerns with incredible care, patience and expertise. Choosing the right engagement ring is no easy task, but David made the process look easy and smooth. He ensured all my preferences were met, even when meeting a very tight schedule for the ring to be ready before my engagement trip. My fiancé was SO happy with the end result, and I only have David and his family to thank for that. They set the standards of ethical and professional gemology and jewelry craftsmanship.
